22° magic of an ancient village in Polcenigo
Polcenigo has always invited each of us to take a small, yet profound journey into the most authentic values of Christmas, choosing with all our hearts to leave behind the frenzy of consumerism and rediscover what truly matters: community, tradition, and the warmth of being part of something shared.
This year, too, we wanted to give special meaning to our celebrations, dedicating a prominent space to the art of the nativity scene, which for us is not just decoration, but a story that is constantly evolving. In the Sala del Mulino Sanchini, visitors are welcomed by six splendid nativity scenes crafted by Neapolitan masters, custodians of a skill that excites and enchants. Along Via Coltura, the nativity figures created by master basket weavers from all over Italy intertwine tradition, expert hands, and a wealth of passion.
In the square, next to our Christmas tree, we wanted to bring a small sign of modernity: a nativity scene created using artificial intelligence and 3D printing. A gesture that combines innovation and tradition, a reminder that Christmas can speak to the past, but also to the present.
We are deeply proud to have managed, once again, to involve all our hamlets, starting with the smallest, Mezzomonte. Thanks to its Pro Loco, the Borgo Creativo association of Polcenigo, which has enlivened our village with creativity and dedication for 22 years, and the support of the municipal administration, this year our festival will light up for 45 days of events, atmospheres, and gatherings.
A sincere thank you goes to all the associations, volunteers, and municipal workers who have been working with dedication, care, and love for weeks to make every corner of our territory, including the hamlets, magical. It is thanks to them that every light, every detail, every decoration speaks of the beauty of our community.
